Prior to St. Thomas:
Varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and speech. Honor roll every semester, Academic all-state award, state volleyball appearance, all conference basketball senior year, 4 time conference champion in speech, 4 state speech appearances and was a captain on that team for 2 years. Art club officer, all conference art show, German Honor Society, and played piano.
Family:
Parents are Joseph and Samar Schoenecker. Father attended UST and brother, Michael, is a senior at UST majoring in political science.
What did you do this summer?
Celine was rehabilitating an ACL re-injury this summer, but she also took some courses to get some credits out of the way, read some books, did some painting, and spent a lot of time outside and with her family.
What do you enjoy most about your teammates or the basketball program?
Celine loves how willing everyone on the team is to help you with whatever you may be going through, basketball related or not.
What do you enjoy to do in your free time?
Celine likes to paint, go on hikes and runs, play the piano, and just hang out with friends.
