Family:
Noelle’s parents are Tarek and Michelle Tomes. She also has three brothers and one sister. Her older brothers are Sid (23) and Adrian (31). Her younger brother is Cedric (13) and her younger sister is Coco (5). Sid finished his fourth year playing basketball for the Air Force Academy in Colorado last year. Tarek, played professional basketball in Europe early in his career.
What did you do this summer?
One fun thing Noelle was able to do this summer before COVID restrictions took place was travel to the U.S Virgin Islands. She traveled with her family and they were able to play basketball outside, go to the beach, and hike around the islands. Otherwise, she spent most of the summer at home with family and friends.
Who inspires you or is a role model to you? Why?
Noelle’s mom is her role model because Noelle says she is everything she hope to be as a strong, confident, successful woman. She have learned so many characteristics from her that she hopes to embrace as she grow. Her mom holds countless attributes she strive for, and hopefully one day she can attain half of the qualities that her mom has.

Travel to 20 different countries
What advice do you have for future Tommie Basketball players?
Noelle says to have fun with it! College basketball doesn't last forever and the opportunity here is amazing. Don't take a day for granted. Make sure you take time to stop and enjoy the process.
