2011 Season...Highly talented and invaluable left handed pitcher who became a huge part of the Tommies success as a freshman. Emerged as the primary set-up and long relief man out of the bullpen in 2011, led the pitching staff in earned run average (2.14), tied for fourth in innings pitched (33.2), finished second in the MIAC in relief appearances with (18) and led the conference in opposing batting average against, holding opponents to a miniscule .173 average. Made collegiate debut against University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in Auburndale, Florida on (3/23/11). Picked up first collegiate win against Bethel on (4/9/11) tossing two scoreless innings in relief. Picked up two saves on the year, both against Macalester, the first coming on (5/4/11) at Nicholson Field in the Tommies 16-6 win, the second coming in the MIAC Playoffs elimination game on (5/14/11) at Veterans Field in Minnetonka. Led the UST pitching staff in games finished with (15). Became the first freshman reliever to lead the Tommies in earned run average since Erik Olson posted a 1.71 era as a freshman in 2006. Worked a career high 3.1 innings of relief with three strikeouts on (4/17/11) against Gustavus. Was one of eleven freshman to see extensive action for the Tommies in 2011. Finished the season with a 1-1 record, 2.14 era, 2 saves, 33.2 innings pitched, allowing only 19 hits and striking out 25.

High School...2010 Minnetonka High School Graduate. Two-Time Minnetonka Most Valuable Player (07, 10), Skippers Varsity Baseball Captain (2010), Batted .397 as a senior with five doubles, one homerun, 14 runs batted in and 10 stolen bases. On the mound posted 1.95 ERA in 47 innings. Lions All Star Selection (Metro West).
