2012 Season...Earned first UST Varsity Baseball Letter traveling and suiting with the Tommies for over 40 regular and post-season games. Made the transition from 1st Base to behind home plate over the off-season and established himself as one of the core members of the UST Varsity program. Split time between Varsity and the Junior Varsity program batting .294 in 15 games with a double and three rbi's, seeing time at catcher and designated hitter. Possess a powerful swing with good bat speed and exceptional approach, will look to make transition back to 1st Base for the 2013 season. Also played football for the Tommies in the fall of 2011. 

High School
...2011 Shawnee Mission East High School Graduate...Two-year Letter Winner for the Lancers in Baseball. Named Team Captain Senior year and Awarded Team Leadership award Junior and Senior years. Finished third place in State Baseball Tournament in 2011, Sunflower League Champions in 2010 & 2011, winners of regionals senior year. Named American Legion Player of the Year, Clutch Pro Performer of the Year in American Legion (2011). Batted .415 in the summer of 2011. 

Personal...Son of George and Lisa Brett...Majoring in Education...Father George Brett played for the Kansas City Royals (1973-1993) and was American League MVP in 1980, inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.

Biggest Sports Thrill: Hitting two Homeruns in the same game at Satchel Paige Memorial Stadium in Kansas City Missouri.
