2011 Season...Hard throwing right hander who was one of eleven freshman to see playing time for the Tommies in 2011. Made first collegiate start and picked up first collegiate win against MIAC rival Gustavus on (4/17/11) at the Koch Diamond. Worked three innings against the Gusties holding them to just three hits and no runs in the Tom's 3-0 shutout victory. A very valuable addition who will continue to see an expanded role apart of the Tommies pitching staff. 

High School...2010 Anoka High School Graduate. Graduated with Academic Honors from Anoka, Lettered in Baseball and Football and was named NWSC All Conference Selection in 2010. Two-time Letter Winner in Baseball for the Tornados. High School teammates with current UST Tommie infielder Sam Miller. 

Personal...Son of Steven and Nancy Nelson...Majoring in Business Finance and Accounting...
