Thoughts from women's head coach Ashley Lucas heading into the final week of the indoor season:
"Today was about sharpening up for the conference meet next week and I think for the most part we did just that. We walked away with a decent amount of more personal records which is always nice to see. I thought Molly (Desotell) ran awesome in the mile, leading from the gun to the finish along with a two-second personal record. Elise (Biorn) had a really good day in both triple and long jump and Katie (Nollette) looked the best she has all season in pole vault.
"We continue to stress to the women that if they compete hard and believe in the process, good results will come. Now we get ready for conference next week and look to improve upon last year's finish."
Thoughts from men's head coach Pete Wareham after Saturday's Snowshoe Open:
"Today was our final tune-up meet to help us prepare for the Summit League Championship and many of our athletes performed really well.
"Thomas Dundon ran the second fastest 600m race in the history of the program. Sam Duffing back up his strong 60m hurdle race from a couple weeks ago. Adam Lueth was outstanding in his 3000m race. Nate Carlin Continues to race well and Shane Aberg set personal records in the throwing events, as did Jon Roux in the mile and Harris Anderson in the 3000m.
"We are excited to bring this momentum to the conference championship next weekend."
