Two one-run losses for Softball on Tuesday

Tommie softball dropped two one-run games on Tuesday on its spring trip to Florida. The Toms fell 2-1 to MIT and 5-4 to Concordia (Wis.).
In game one, UST and MIT each had three hits. Emily Gregory tripled in the second inning, and pinch runner Annie Boyer scored on Jenny Grahek's single. Alyssa Dunrud had two hits.
In game two, UST had six hits but committed five errors. Concordia hit three singles in the seventh innings for a walk-off victory.
St. Thomas (11-4), 3-2 on the Florida trip, plays on Thursday against Western Connecticut State, then closes the trip with Friday games against UW-River Falls and Buena Vista.
