Tommie softball pounded 18 hits in Thursday's 15-1 win over Western Connecticut State in Clermont, Fla. The game was halted in the sixth inning by the eight-run rule.
No. 12-ranked St. Thomas (12-4), now 4-2 in Florida, closes its trip with Friday games against UW-River Falls and Buena Vista.
Breezy Bannon started and pitched into the fifth inning for the victory. Maggie Briesmeiester went 3-for-3 with three singles; Kimmy Hassel had a double, single, and a walk; Jenna Hoffman had a triple and a single; and Erin Mussett had a double and a single.Team Stats
