Tommie Women’s Golf to compete at two day Jackrabbit Invitational

Tommies travel to Las Vegas, Nev. to compete with 14 other programs
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Tommies are back in action for the first time since the Mountain Classic Match Play event in which they took fourth. They head down to Las Vegas, Nevada for the Jackrabbit Invitational hosted by South Dakota State at Boulder Creek Golf Club. St. Thomas took third place of 13 teams at this event last season.
The tournament begins on Monday, March 10th and concludes on Tuesday the 11th. Two rounds are scheduled for day one with the third round scheduled for day two. Both days are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. PST (10:00 a.m. CST).

Last Time Out
The Tommies placed fourth out of eight teams in their match play tournament back in January. They defeated North Dakota State in the first round before falling to Northern Arizona in the second round and Seattle in the third-place match.
Kathryn VanArragon swept each of her three match ups across the three-day tournament. She took down her NDSU match up by three holes, defeated her NAU opponent by seven holes, and brought down her Seattle foe by two holes. She was the only Tommie to win all three head-to-heads. Isabelle Lynch was the only other Tommie with a winning record (2-1-0).
