Men’s Golf takes to Chambers Bay Golf Course for SeattleU Redhawk Invitational

The Tommies return to University Place, Washington for the 18-team invite
ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas Men's Golf returns to the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational for the second consecutive year this Monday and Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington. The Tommies placed seventh out of 18 teams at this event last season with a pair of top-10 performances.
The tournament begins on Monday, March 31st and concludes on Tuesday, April 1st. Two rounds are scheduled for day one with the third round scheduled for day two. Both days will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. pacific (10:00 a.m. central).

Last Time Out
The Tommies tied with Summit League foe, Denver, for fifth place last week with a 293-283-293—869 (+5), five strokes behind fourth place. The Tommies and Pioneers toppled each of the remaining four conference opponents in the field (USD, UNO, SDSU, UND) at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate.
Owen Rexing led the charge for the Tommies with a 20th place finish after going 74-67-74, one stroke under par for the tournament. Matthew Armstrong, Tyler McNeive, and Zach Rouleau each tied for 29th place at two strokes over par. Gavin Newkirk tied for 81st place at 18 over par and the Tommies' individual, Will Schlitz, finished in 68th place, 11 over par.
