16-team field set for April 11-12

ST. PAUL, Minn. – St. Thomas men's golf looks to build on its record-setting performance at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational as it travels to Columbus, Ohio, for the Robert Kepler Invitational, Aprile 11-12. The 16-team event is hosted by Ohio State University at Columbus Country Club.

The Tommies competed in the Robert Kepler Invitational for the first time last season, finished 10th overall. Matt Armstrong led the way with a 12th place finish, while current Tommies Tyler McNeive, Gavin Newkirk, and Zach Rouleau each competed across all three rounds.

Last Time Out
St. Thomas is coming off a historic showing at the SeattleU Redhawk Invitational, where it record a program-best 10-under-par final round to climb to spots and finish eighth in a 14-team field.
 
All four scoring Tommies finished under par in the final round, led by Tyler McNeive and Mason Roloff, who each fired 68s. McNeive surged 10 spots to tie for 13th at 2-under, while Roloff jumped 11 places to tie for 20th.

After a challenging opening round and steady improvement in round two, the Tommies erupted for 23 birdies in the final round and finished with 43 total, second most in the tournament. Jesse Hand and Gavin Newkirk each added rounds of 71, while Owen Rexing shot even par. St. Thomas finished at 873 (+9), just nine strokes outside the top five.
