Thoughts from head coaches Pete Wareham and Ashley Lucas following the first full team meet of the outdoor season:
"It was really fun for us to be back competing as a team after not having a meet for more than a month. Practices are going well and this meet gave our guys a chance to have strong competition to open the outdoor season. We had a lot of very impressive performances. Jack Ronser continues to make good things happen in all his events. Sam Duffing won the 110 hurdles with a big personal record and Mitchell Piehl ran a top 10 time in the 200.

"What I feel best about is the team attitude and how hard they work to improve. We want to build on this each day.

"This week we will split the team up with athletes competing in California, Pennsylvania and at Drake University in Iowa. We are excited for these opportunities." – Head Coach Pete Wareham

"I thought today was a solid opener for the entire team with several personal bests. The javelin group started the day off hot with collective great throws and Anna (Swanson) having a monster last throw to rebreak her school record. The hurdle crew collectively had a great day and I thought Alicia (Belany) ran great in the 400. It's always great to start off the season strong and now we just need to not become complacent and instead ride the momentum to improving and more great performances." – Head Coach Ashley Lucas
