Toms’ lone home indoor meet begins at 2 p.m. in the AARC Fieldhouse
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Thomas men's and women's track & field programs return to action Friday, Jan. 12 as it hosts the St. Thomas Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
The Tommies' lone home meet of the indoor season begins at 2 p.m. with throwing events, followed at 3 p.m. with jumps. Running events begin at 4:30 p.m. with the trials for the 60m hurdles and 60m dash.

The St. Thomas men and women opened their seasons Dec. 8, 2023 at the M City Indoor Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota. Sophomore Olivia Keller and junior Josie Liebl each broke the St. Thomas women's pentathlon record to begin the season. Keller took third in the event with a score of 3355 followed by Liebl in fourth with 3343 points, both breaking the previous women's mark of 3230 set by Laura Eischens at the 2017 MIAC Indoor Championships.
Freshman Will DiSessa and the 4x400m relay team brought home the men's two wins of the meet. DiSessa won the triple jump with a mark of 13.76m while the relay of Peter McGivern, Cameron Heppner, Samuel Gausmann, and Thomas Dundon won the event in 3:26.21.
The women totaled 14 top-five finishes while the men recorded eight top-five finishes and two event wins at the M City Indoor Classic.
