Women's Golf set for Monday-Tuesday tourney in Nevada

St. Paul, Minn. -- Tommie Women's Golf is set for its final seven week stretch of the 2022-23 schedule. Coach Katie Hanneman's squad plays Monday and Tuesday in Boulder City, Nev., in the 14-team Jackrabbit Spring Invite hosted by South Dakota State.
The teams play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Summit League teams in the event are the Tommies, South Dakota, South Dakota State and North Dakota. Other teams competing are defending team champ Middle Tennessee State; Arkansas-Little Rock; USC-Upstate; Eastern Kentucky; Grand Canyon; Western Carolina; Lipscomb; Belmont; Missouri State and Long Island.

Five weeks ago, the Purple placed fourth out of six teams in Florida in the Motor City Classic.
This is the second of five tournaments in 2023 for St. Thomas spread across February, March and April. Next up is a Golfweek tourney March 27-29 in South Carolina.
Courtney Wedin leads the team in low stroke average this school year at 76.5 over 11 rounds.
