Quotables
Coach Johnson on the second sweep of the season:
"Yesterday we played well, we just couldn't finish. I thought today we kind of overwhelmed with depth. It was really fun to see a lot of forwards get involved, not just on the score sheet, but just in general."
Coach Johnson on opening conference play at the Xcel Energy Center next weekend:
"It's going to be a special day for everybody involved. To play not only a WCHA game, but against crosstown rival in Minnesota, and then to play with the Xcel Energy Center. For people that have grown up in the State of Hockey here it's a fun place to play, it's a fun place to go to watch hockey. It'll be an awesome environment, I'm excited for it and I can't wait to see more players perform.
