Men's Soccer drops 1-0 road decision at Omaha

Omaha, Neb. - Host Omaha scored in the 75th minute to break a 0-0 deadlock and held on for a 1-0 shutout of Tommie Men's Soccer in Saturday night's Summit League play.
The Tommies (2-8-2 overall, 1-1-1 Summit) took their first conference loss but continued their solid defensive play..
The Mavs (6-4-1, 3-0-1) remain near the top of the conference with the win. They had a 19-8 advantage in shots, including a 8-1 edge in shots on net, and also had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks. Kenji Mboma Dem scored the game-winning goal.
Tucker Mann had seven saves in goal for the Purple.
Next Up
St. Thomas plays next Wednesday night in Tulsa against Oral Roberts in a rescheduled game. The Purple return home for a Saturday Oct. 22 contest against Western Illinois.
