Men’s Soccer announces 2026 schedule

Tommies begin 2026 campaign August 20 at home against Detroit Mercy
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Following its best season in the Division I era, head coach Jon Lowery's St. Thomas men's soccer team, has announced its complete 15-game schedule for the 2026 season. The Tommies open at home on August 20 against Detroit Mercy, begin Summit League play October 3 on South Field against Kansas City, and round out the slate on the road against Oral Roberts on Halloween.
The Toms begin the preseason with a pair of exhibitions against Wisconsin (Aug. 11) and Indian Hills CC (Aug. 15), before hosting three straight games in St. Paul to open the regular season. Three days after their first-ever game with Detroit Mercy, the Purple go to battle with a pair of familiar foes in Green Bay (Aug. 23) and Chicago State (Aug. 27).
Eastern Illinois represents the first road contest of the campaign on August 30 before the Tommies return home for a midweek matchup with St. Cloud State (Sept. 2). St. Thomas then heads back on the road for its longest stretch away from South Field, playing Milwaukee (Sept. 5), Marquette (Sept. 9), Utah Tech (Sept. 18), and Belmont (Sept. 25).
Five of the Toms' final six games come in conference play beginning with a home battle against the Kansas City Roos (Oct. 3). An October 6 match at Western Michigan is the final nonconference bout of the season. South Field is the site of the Purple's matchup against the Delaware Blue Hens (Oct. 10).
The final two weeks of the 2026 season begin with a trip to Amherst on October 17 to face UMass. The Tommies then return home on October 24 against Omaha before closing the regular season on the road against Oral Roberts on Halloween.
