Kangas nets OT winner in Men's Hockey comeback

Andrew Kangas scored with 36 seconds left in the sudden-death overtime to lift St. Thomas Men's Hockey to Tuesday's 4-3 comeback win at St. Mary's in non-conference play.
Four different players scored the four goals for the Tommies (5-1-1), who secured the program's 39th consecutive winning season.
They ran their road winning streak to six games and posted their third hard-fought win over the Cardinals in 11 days. Coach Jeff Boeser's team has two games left in its condensed season.
St. Thomas trailed 3-1 midway through the final period, but Luke Radetic's power-play goal and freshman Austin Nault's goal in a 3:27 span tied the game at 3-3.
The scored stayed even and St. Thomas played its third overtime game of the season, all under a new 3-on-3 format.
Senior Spencer Zweiner scored the first Tommie goal.
The Purple play Friday night at Bethel.
