Women's Hockey falls at home to Pointers

UW-Stevens Point scored four goals in the first 22:00 on the clock en route to a 6-1 defeat of host St. Thomas in Wednesday night's non-conference women's hockey game in Mendota Heights.
Freshman Anna Williams scored her first collegiate goal for UST (3-6-2). Paige Kittelson and Frani Marshall played in goal for the Tommies.
The Pointers (7-4-2) went 3-for-5 on the power play to UST's 0-for-6. Lauren Smith scored two goals and Meredith Ingbretson had a goal and two assists.
St. Thomas plays Friday night at St. Mary's.
