Kristen Grossman and Justina Debruzzi scored first-period goals, but the host Tommie women's hockey team played to a 2-2 overtime tie with St. Catherine Saturday afternoon on home ice in Mendota Heights.
SCU's Michaela Michaelson scored the tying goal with the help of an extra attacker with 40 seconds left in regulation.
The Toms (11-9-3 overall, 10-4-2 MIAC) got just one point on the weekend series after falling 2-1 Friday night and trails first-place Gustavus by four points.
UST closes its regular season next Friday and Saturday at Concordia-Moorhead.
