Freshman Jamie Tiede's power-play goal 56 seconds into the third period tied the score and junior All-American Lauren Bradel stopped 32 of 33 shots as the No. 8-ranked Tommies (9-2-1 overall, 6-0-1 MIAC) tied No. 1-ranked Gustavus (8-1-3, 5-0-2) in Friday's MIAC women's hockey game in Mendota Heights.

The teams play again Saturday in St. Peter (2 p.m.).

Kirstin Peterson scored at 17:40 of the second period for a 1-0 Gustie lead.

Danielle Justice stopped 14 of 15 shots for Gustavus, which extended its conference unbeaten streak to 36 games.
