Alli Altmann is entering her first season with the St. Thomas Women's Hockey program after being added to the staff as an assistant/goal tending coach in August of 2025.

Altmann served as the USA Women's National Team goaltending coach from 2022-2024, which included the 2023 gold medal winning squad. Alli also was the goaltending coach for the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team at the 2022 Under-18 Women's World Championship and U.S. Women's National Team, at the 2021 Women’s World Championship in Calgary. 

From 2017-2022 Altmann served as the goaltending coach of the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team. In the role, she helped guide the team to two gold medals (2020, 2018) and two silver medals (2022, 2019). She has also coached for the U.S. Women's National Festival from 2016-2021.

In addition to her USA Hockey resume, Altmann also coached a U.S Under-18 Selects team in 2017 at the Under 18 series vs. Canada.

Altmann played four seasons for Minnesota State University. During her time, Altmann recorded a career .901 save percentage and also holds the school record for most games played with 110. The three-time WCHA All-Academic honoree led Minnesota State to the school’s first-ever WCHA Final Face Off appearance in 2009.
