Prior to St. Thomas:

I had a succsessful high school career. I participated in volleyball and basketball. In volleyball I was a 2-year captain, 2-year all-conference player, and earned four varsity letters. In basketball I was a captain, 2-year all-conference winner along with 3-year all-conference honorable mention, first junior to score 1,000 points at my high school, was selected to The Minnesota 3A All-Star Team, and was All-State Honorable Mention. I was the winner of the Athena Award for top female athletes at my high school. Academically, I graduated summa cum laude while taking all AP classes.

Michelle Schaible (Mother)- Entrepreneur
Todd Schaible (Father)- Engineer

Why did you choose St. Thomas

I chose UST because I wanted to challenge myself academically, spiritually, and physically. I wanted to come somewhere I knew I would find joy and "my people". I am most looking forward to meeting new people and starting the next chapter of my life.

What was your first impression of St. Thomas?

The first time I came to St.Thomas I immediately felt at home. Everyone was so welcoming and willing to help. Right away I felt accepted and welcomed to the community.

What is your favorite sports memory?

My favorite sports memory was scoring my 1000th point. It was a memorable night but what really made it special was all of the signs my team made me to celebrate this mile stone with me.

What is your career aspiration or Dream Job

I intend on majoring in Biology with a focus on Pre Med. I would love to one day become a PA.

Who is your favorite athlete (any sport)?

Abby Wambach

Where have you volunteered?

Hopechest- Money raised goes to help local women fighting Breast Cancer
Sheridan Story- Packing backpacks and food for kids in the local area who do not have a consistent food supply.
Crisis Nursery- Spend time with young children. Either cooking for them or playing with them.

What is your craziest ambition or on your bucket list to do?

Swim with sharks

What is something fun or interesting you did this summer?

I hiked through Colorado with my family. We saw amazing view of the mountains!
