What is your favorite sports memory?... Having the winning free throws my sophomore year in my high school's first conference championship against a team we hadn't won against in 30+ years.
Why did you choose St. Thomas?... I chose UST because I wanted to continue playing basketball at a higher, more competitive level and I also wanted to take part in the first and biggest Catholic Studies program in the whole world (actual fact).
What was your first impression of St. Thomas? ... A Social Worker from my high school, Mr. McBride is very big on D3 basketball and was helping me with my college decision process. He suggested UST one day in his office, and for some reason I was 100% against going to Minnesota; he pestered and was just so persistent, so I agreed to go to a visit just because. Stepped foot on campus and I knew I loved it. It held my personal expectations and standards as a university and the basketball is run in the most ideal way. Everyone here is "Minnesota Nice" and I couldn't be happier.
What is your career aspiration or Dream Job?...I'm planning on double majoring in Catholic Studies and I have yet to figure out the second. I aspire to be a missionary and help others while glorifying God.
Who is your favorite athlete?... Stephen Curry!!
Who inspires you or is a role model? and Why?... My great grandmother, Cleopatra Dulay-Pactol. She was one of the "Angels of Bataan," serving as a nurse with the rank of 3rd Lieutenant in the Philippine Commonwealth Army. She's told me a many stories on how she's overcome adversities throughout her whole life. She's still living pretty independently and her 99 birthday is in early December. Strong woman.
What is favorite late night snack?... Cereal. Either Cocoa Pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We've all been there.
What is favorite vacation spot or future destination?... I've always wanted to go to visit the Philippines. I'm half Filipino and I've never been!
What is Favorite artist?... Russ Diemon!!!
What is on your pre-game music?... Drake. He can get you both hype and in your feels. Perfect for any mood, any time of the day.
Do you have any notable or unique talents or hobbies?... I can dress really fast when I'm late to things. :)
Where have you volunteered?... Catholic Charities is the biggest one! At my home parish, St. Issac Jogues. I also did A LOT of volunteering through school clubs and organizations.
What is your craziest ambition or on your bucket list to do?... Cliff Dive probably. It looks really cool and scary. I'm afraid of heights.
