2016-17: Appeared in four varsity games, scoring 2 points and securing 2 rebounds. During her 11 JV games, Bianca added 3.2 points per game, 1.5 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game.
Prior to St. Thomas: Graduate of Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas where I was a three-year varsity letter winner. I was captain my senior year. As a junior and senior I was selected TAPPS 5A Honorable Mention All-District. I was selected to the Primetime 2016 Players to Watch List, was a four year academic honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA.
Family: Parents are Mark and Jennifer, Siblings Hayden (Sr. at UST) and Quinn. Appeared in four games, scoring two points and securing 2 rebounds.
What is your favorite sports memory?
Traveling with my AAU team across the country and meeting different people from different states.
Why did you choose St. Thomas?.... I chose St. Thomas because it has a very welcoming atmosphere and it is in a part of a country I have never been to. Having my brother attend school here and tell me about all the wonderful opportunities and relationships he has formed influenced my college decision to attend UST.
What was your first impression of St. Thomas?.... My first impression of St. Thomas was how beautiful all the buildings are and how welcoming the community here was during my visit.
What is your career aspiration or Dream Job?.... Lawyer
Who is your favorite athlete?... Stephen Curry
What is a pre-game ritual?.... I listen to rap music and visualize what I want to accomplish during the game.
What is favorite late night snack?.... Pretzel Goldfish
Do you have any notable or unique talents or hobbies?... I love to draw still-life sketches.
What is something fun or interesting you did this summer?.... My friends and I went to a ranch and drove ATVs in the mud, went swimming in a lake, and went to a German festival.
Where have you volunteered?.... Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Vincent de Paul, Austin Street Shelter, Day of Sharing, North Texas Food Bank, Catholic Charities, Team in Training, Light the Night, coaching middle school boys basketball, Love for Kids, Tutored Sudanese Refugee Students, Feast of Sharing, Angle For A Day, MS Society walks and bikes, Univeristy of Dallas Ministry Conference, Missionaries of Charity, and many more!
What is your craziest ambition or on your bucket list to do?.... I would love to either go to Alaska and watch the northern lights or I would like to travel to Italy and experience real Italian food.
