Last Time Out
St. Thomas opened the 2026 outdoor season with a strong multi-meet showing, highlighted by program records from Olivia Keller and Brooke Wisdom at the Clyde Hart Classic in Waco, Texas. The Tommies also posted event wins and a collection of top-10 marks across competitions in Texas, Missouri and Minnesota, signaling early momentum across both squads.

The women were paced by Keller's record-breaking 2:07.38 in the 800 meters and Wisdom's school-record 4.02-meter clearance in the pole vault. Chloe Staub added an event win in the javelin with the program's second-best mark all-time, while the 4x100 relay recorded the No. 2 time in school history. The distance group produced multiple top-10 marks at the Wash U Distance Carnival, including Olivia Pauly's third-fastest 5,000-meter time in program history, as the Tommies totaled double-digit top finishes across the weekend.

On the men's side, Sam Hebert led the way with the second-fastest 400-meter time in program history (47.40), while Trever Schirmer recorded top-three finishes in both the discus and shot put to move up the program record lists. Braeden Brouwer added a top-10 mark in the 110-meter hurdles, and the Tommies dominated the 10,000 meters at the CSB/SJU Optimistic Meet. Isaac Nowak highlighted the distance efforts with a win and meet record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase as the men compiled multiple top finishes to open the season.
