Tennis defeats Northern Iowa on the road

Tommies split a set of weekend matches in Iowa
WATERLOO, Iowa -- The St. Thomas tennis team traveled to Iowa, playing Northern Iowa and SIUE in a set of weekend matches.
The Tommies defeated Northern Iowa for the second season in a row, before falling to SIUE on Saturday morning.
vs Northern Iowa (Win, 4-3)
After Northern Iowa picked up the point in doubles play, St. Thomas rallied to win four singles matches on Friday evening.

1. Darta Dalecka def. Marthe Degeorges (6-4, 6-0)
2. Caroline Lindahl def. Lorena Cardoso (6-1, 6-1)
3. Anna Sidorenko def. Kim Zizek (6-2, 6-2)
4. Andjela Raznatovic def. Jannah ElNemr (6-4, 7-6 (9-7))
5. Shrichandrakala Tentu def. Kanyanut Sudsaard (7-5, 7-5)
6. Lily Olson def. Lasya Mylavarapu (6-2, 6-3)
vs SIUE (Loss, 2-4)
SIUE earned the point in doubles competition on Saturday morning.
Jannah ElNemr and Shrichandrakala Tentu earned victories for the Purple in the No. 3 and No. 4 singles spots, as Tentu went undefeated in singles competition over the weekend. However, the Cougars picked up the 4-2 win in the fourth meeting between the two teams.
