Boulder City, Nev. -- Tommie Women's Golf posted its best 54-hole score in program history, a 904 total, in a 10th-place finish out of 14 teams at the SDSU Jackrabbit Spring Invite.

The Toms shot rounds of 300 and 298 on Monday, and finished the tournament on Tuesday with a 306 score.

Coach Katie Hanneman's lineup, which was comprised this week of all Minnesota natives, posted the best 18-hole score of the Division I era with Monday's 298. That was also the third best 18-hole score all-time for Tommie Women's Golf.

Junior Courtney Wedin shot 73 on Tuesday and tied for sixth place in a field of 79 golfers. Her 216 score -- including 10 birdies -- is believed to be a program best for an individual over 54 holes. Wedin's 70 over the second 18 on Monday tied for the fifth best score of the round, and matched the Purple's best 18-hole score of the Division I era. Her final-day 73 was tied for the seventh best score of Tuesday's round.

Isabelle Lynch shot 73-76-81/230; Emma Davies had rounds of 81-75-76/232; Caroline Monty posted scores of 77-79-77/233; and Lauren Contreras shot 77-77-81/235.

The Tommies finished only seven shots out of fourth place. Grand Canyon won the tournament at one-over-par 865, with Lipscomb six strokes back, and Western Carolina 19 back in third place.

St. Thomas competes March 27-29 in South Carolina at the 54-hole Golfweek-AGT tournament.
