St. Paul, Minn. – St. Thomas football continues to build its roster with the addition of three local transfer students making their formal commitment to the University joining Coach Glenn Caruso's program this spring.

This group of three student athletes are not only from Minnesota, all three prepped within the greater metro.

"I think our staff did a phenomenal job identifying and landing three high-profile local recruits from the 2021 signing class," said Coach Caruso. "Although we traditionally do not take large numbers in terms of transfers, they have been very high on quality and these three are cut from the same cloth. We've been very fortunate that the young men who have transferred back home to St. Thomas throughout the years have been little building blocks for our team and culture and helped create the program we now have."

The group includes three offensive players – a quarterback, wide receiver and an offensive lineman, and two defensive linemen. Two of the three transfers came from Division I programs, including one FCS and one FBS school.
