Fifteen Tommies named to Phil Steele All-Conference teams

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The postseason awards continue to roll in for the University of St. Thomas football team. After another top-3 finish in the Pioneer Football League (PFL), 15 Tommies earned Phil Steele All-PFL honors this week.

Charlie Boucher (Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) – Third Team, Linebacker
  • 2025 PFL Second Team All-Conference honoree
  • 3x PFL Academic All-Conference (2024, 2023, 2022)
  • Appeared and started all 12 games for the Tommies in 2025
  • Racked up 52 tackles (21 solo, 31 assists), 5.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one quarterback hurry
  • Recorded a season and career-high eight tackles vs. Presbyterian on November 15, 2025
  • Starter on the No. 2 ranked defense in the PFL 
Quentin Cobb-Butler (Woodbury, Minn. / Woodbury) – Second Team, Wide Receiver
  • 2025 PFL Second Team All-Conference honoree
  • Ranked top-5 in the PFL in receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns, receptions/game and yards/game vs. conference opponents
  • Owned longest receiving play in the PFL at 85 yards
  • Tallied 665 receiving yards on 40 targets in 2025 with six touchdowns in PFL play
  • Recorded a season and career-high 137 receiving yards vs. Davidson
  • Compiled three 100+ yard performances at wide receiver
  • Recorded a touchdown in four consecutive games to open PFL play 
Nick Hand (Rogers, Minn. / Totino-Grace) – Third Team, Defensive Back
  • PFL All-Conference Honorable Mention honoree
  • 3x Academic Honor Roll honoree (2024, 2023, 2022)
  • Ranked third on the team in total tackles (62) and led the Tommies with three interceptions
  • Recorded a season and career-high 12 tackles at Drake
  • Also recorded four pass breakups
Elliot Huether (Minnetonka, Minn. / Benilde-St. Margaret) – First Team, Punter
  • 2025 PFL First Team All-Conference honoree
  • 2025 First Team Academic All-Conference (PFL)
  • 2025 FCS Punter of the Year semifinalist
  • 2x PFL Academic Honor Roll recipient
  • Appeared in all 12 games for the Tommies in 2025
  • Led the PFL in punting average vs. conference opponents and overall
  • Owned the longest punt in PFL play in 2025 of 69 yards
  • Ranked second in the PFL in 50+ yard punts (8) and third in punts inside the 20 (9) 
Joseph Koch (Menomonee Falls, Wis. / Menomonee Falls) – Fourth Team, Running Back
  • First time Phil Steele All-Conference honoree
  • Appeared in nine games for the Tommies in 2025
  • Rushed for 457 total yards with one 100+ yard performance
  • Rushed for season and career-high 154 yards in season opener vs. Lindenwood
  • Scored seven touchdowns (six rushing, one receiving)
  • Rushed for three touchdowns in a 57-13 win over Davidson on October 11
Jason Laliberte (Maple Grove, Minn. / Maple Grove) – First Team, Offensive Line
  • 3x PFL All-Conference Honoree
  • 2x PFL Academic Honor Roll honoree
  • Appeared and started 11 of 12 games for St. Thomas in 2025
  • Led the Tommies to the No. 1 ranked offense in the PFL (vs. conference opponents)

Jordan Pendleton (Memphis, Tenn. / Lausanne Collegiate School) – Second Team, Linebacker
  • 2025 PFL All-Conference Honorable Mention honoree
  • Set DI era record for single-season sacks
  • Closed 2025 with 47 total tackles, including 12.0 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks
  • Also recorded three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one quarterback hurry, and two pass breakups
Andy Peters (Boise, Idaho / Timberline) – Second Team, Quarterback
  • 2025 PFL Second Team All-Conference honoree
  • 2026 First Team Academic All-Conference (PFL)
  • 2x PFL Offensive Player of the Week
  • Played and started 10 of 12 games for the Tommies in 2025

  • Tallied 41 tackles (20 solo, 21 assists) and 11.0 tackles for loss, including 4.5 sacks
  • Recorded a season and career-high seven tackles vs. Presbyterian on November 15 
JaShawn Todd (Los Angeles, Calif. / Oaks Christian) – First Team, Return Specialist; Second Team, AP
  • 2025 PFL Second Team All-Conference honoree
  • Earned Second Team Honors as a return specialist, Honorable Mention as an all-purpose player
  • Appeared and started all 12 games for the Tommies in 2025
  • Racked up 1125 all-purpose yards in 2025, which ranked seventh in the PFL
  • Ranked third in the league in total punt return yards (222) and led the league in yards per punt return (15.9) 
Patrick Wagner (Crofton, Md. / Archbishop Spalding) – Third Team, Tight End
  • 2x All-Conference honoree
  • 3x PFL Academic Honor Roll honoree
  • Appeared in 11 games in 2025 as one of the top receiving tight ends in the PFL
  • Ranked second on the team in touchdowns (3) and third in receiving yards (390) and receptions (27)
  • Averaged 14.44 yards/catch and 35.45 yards/game
  • Recorded a season-high 92 receiving yards at Northern Michigan
