Tommie football announces 2026 schedule

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas football team announced its full schedule for the 2026 season. The Tommies are slated to play seven games at O'Shaughnessy Stadium this upcoming fall and will face both North Dakota and Southern Utah in nonconference play.
St. Thomas will officially kick off the 2026 season on Thursday, August 27 when it hosts Winona State at O'Shaughnessy Stadium. September also promises to be a busy month for the Tommies, who will host Northern Michigan, Southern Utah and San Diego on three consecutive weekends at O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
In addition to the Pioneer Football League (PFL) opener, St. Thomas will host Stetson, Davidson and Drake in conference play in 2026.
The Tommies are coming off yet another impressive season in PFL play, earning their fifth consecutive top-3 finish in the conference standings. St. Thomas made a statement to open the 2025 season, defeating (RV) Lindenwood 35-13 at home after losing 64-0 on the road in 2024. The Tommies also took #10 Idaho to the wire and won five consecutive PFL games from October 11 to November 8. This included a dramatic 20-13 win at Drake, the only loss suffered by the eventual conference champions.
Season tickets for St. Thomas football will go on sale later this spring. More information will be available at www.tommiesports.com/tickets. Fowler veranda seats will be available for purchase, and bench seats start at $75. Seat backs will start at $150.
