Women's Hockey Sunday Contest to be Televised on Bally Sports North

St. Paul, Minn. – The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) has announced a four-game lineup of Bally Sports broadcasts including one St. Thomas contest. The University of St. Thomas Women's Hockey team will take to the airwaves this Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Saint Thomas Ice Arena against the University of Minnesota-Duluth on Bally Sports North.

The Bally Sports broadcasts come in addition to the league's B1G+ streaming partnership, giving fans multiple ways to access live and on-demand WCHA games. The program will also be available live to B1G+ subscribers.
"As we continue to build our program, receiving opportunities for fans and future Tommies to watch us compete is imperative," St. Thomas head women's hockey coach Joel Johnson said. "We're grateful to be working with Bally Sports this upcoming weekend and look forward to competing and showcasing our amazing student athletes."
The broadcast team of Sam Ekstrom, current voice of Minnesota Men's Hockey on Bally Sports North and of St. Thomas Men's Hockey on Skor North, and Tony Pasquesi, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at St. Thomas, and Tommie Women's Hockey Sports Information Director, will lead the coverage of the season's final matchup between the Tommies and Bulldogs.
Tickets are still available for fans planning to attend the game at the Saint Thomas Ice Arena this weekend. Tickets can be purchased HERE for five dollars.
