John Peterson scored two goals, but Tommie Men's Hockey saw a potential victory over UW-Stout turn into a 4-4 overtime tie in non-conference play Friday.
The Blue Devils (0-2-1) scored two extra-attacker goals in the final 45 seconds. The Toms (1-1-1) never trailed and appeared to be in good position after Peterson's empty-net goal with 57 seconds left built a 4-2 Tommie lead.
Sam Huff and Broydon Stufko also scored goals for the Purple.
The Tommies play Saturday night at UW-Stevens Point.
