Macy makes it happen, Women's Hoops gets comeback win

Macy Hatlestad's 3-point basket with 24 seconds left and two late free throws helped No. 9-ranked Tommie Women's Basketball outlast host Trinity (Texas) 71-68 on Sunday night in San Antonio to close out a 2-0 trip.
Trinity (1-1), a 22-win team last season, was coming off a 19-point home win Saturday over No. 8-ranked George Fox.
Hatlestad finished with 20 points and five rebounds, while Brynne Rolland added 19 points and seven boards, and Kaia Porter has 12 points and five assists.
St. Thomas erased a nine-point deficit to start the fourth quarter. The Purple had a 29-18 rebounding edge, hit seven treys, and sank 20-of-25 free throws, including 5-of-6 in the final minute.
