What did you do this summer: It was my fourth summer nannying for a family back in Alexandria, while also enjoying my first coaching experience as an AAU coach for a team run out of Alexandria. I went and got my second tattoo which I absolutely love with a great meaning behind it! I attended Wefest for the second year in a row with some high school buddies. For the most part, I enjoyed my time on the lake, with family and playing with my three dogs.
What have you enjoyed most about UST: Talking in school terms, I have really enjoyed getting into classes that revolve around my major of exercise science. I love learning about the human body and how it relates to physical therapy. I have also enjoyed meeting some of my best friends through basketball and school, which make this place feel even more like home!
What advice do you have for future Tommie Basketball players: Find your purpose!! The basketball season is long, but any player can get through the lull of the season if you continuously remind yourself of your purpose or why you are here playing the sport you love.
What is a club/group/activity/professional development outside of basketball at UST you are in, or is there something you would recommend to other Tommies: I am in the Public Health club which provides any of its members to be active in the health community, gain experience and create connections for your future! Join study groups too!
What is career ambition or dream job: With a major in exercise science, I want to pursue a degree in physical therapy - specifically working with athletes. I am also interested in a sports psychology profession too that could maybe tie into my therapy profession too.
What is your favorite vacation spot/future destination: I have wanted to visit New Zealand for the longest time. Anyplace warm on the beach is also enjoyable :)
Who is your favorite athlete: Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans.
Do you have any notable or unique talents or hobbies: I can do a backwards somersault while spinning a basketball.
