Freshman Kierstin Anderson-Glass threw a complete-game win in game one and homered in game two as No. 15-ranked St. Thomas Softball scored a 3-1, 8-1 sweep of Carleton Sunday in Northfield.

The first-place Tommies (26-4 overall, 13-1 MIAC) maintained a two-game lead on the loss side over second-place Gustavus.

UST has won seven in a row and 24 of its last 25 games.

St. Thomas had 15 hits on the day from 12 different players.

Anderson-Glass struck out 11 in game one and now has a 15-to-1 K-to-walk ratio this season. She lowered her season ERA to 0.95 and improved to 17-3 on the season as she allowed eight hits, one walk and one run.

Katie Jo Delisle and Jessica Eppenberger combined on a three-hitter in game two. They retired 19 of the last 22 Carleton batters.

St. Thomas has a home doubleheader Wednesday against Macalester.

St. Thomas Women's Golf had the day's low round of 313 and placed second of nine teams in the Wartburg Invite. The 36-hole, two-day competition -- St. Thomas' first of the spring -- ended Sunday in Waverly, Iowa.
