Baseball rallies to win, goes 6-2 in Florida

An eight-run seventh-inning uprising lifted St. Thomas to a 13-5 comeback baseball win over Worcester (Mass.) State in Saturday's final Florida game for the Tommies.
Coach Chris Olean's team (12-4), ranked No. 13 in Division III, went 6-2 on the week. It was St. Thomas first win of the season after it trailed through six innings.
Nine different players had hits for UST, with Sam Miller and Jack Hogan getting three apiece in a 15-hit attack.
Dylan Thomas worked two scoreless innings and earned his first pitching victory of the season. Starter Mark Dominik allowed five hits and no earned runs over four innings. St. Thomas pitchers lowered their ERA to 2.45 on the season.
St. Thomas opens MIAC play March 31 with a 7 p.m. twinbill in the Metrodome against Hamline.
