Men's Hockey skates to 2-2 tie with St. Olaf

St. Thomas outshot the visiting Oles 43-24 but settled for a 2-2 tie in Friday night's MIAC men's hockey game in Mendota Heights.
St. Olaf scored twice in the third period to take a 2-1 lead. UST's Riley Horgan scored an unassisted breakaway goal with 8:53 left to tie the game for the Tommies (11-9-2 overall, 6-5-2 MIAC).
Nick Krauss had 41 saves for St. Olaf (9-7-4, 3-4-4 MIAC). The Oles extended their unbeaten streak to five (4-0-1).
The teams play again Saturday night in Northfield.
