Men's Hockey takes 6-2 win over Cardinals

St. Thomas received goals from six different players and topped St. Mary's 6-2 in Saturday night's MIAC men's hockey game in Mendota Heights.
The Toms (11-9-1 overall, 6-5-1 MIAC) got a goal from Rob Philipp just 38 seconds into the game (assisted by Riley Horgan and Nick Gorski). They scored three more in the first 10:00 if the second as Horgan, Brandon Bahnemann and Bryce Walker all scored even-strength goals. Chris Hickey and Tommy Westmark scored in the final period.
Scott Deur and Mike Schaber scored unassiisted goals for the Cards.
St. Mary's (4-13-2, 3-5-2) was outshot 43-25. Geoff Sadjadi (UST) stopped 23 shots for the win in goal.
