Men's Hockey falls 3-2 to Cobbers

Chris Beede and Joe Becker scored back-to-back goals in a 39-second span early in the third period to lead the visiiting Cobbers (6-8-3 overall, 2-3-3 MIAC) to a 3-2 win over host St. Thomas in Saturday's men's hockey play in Mendota Heights.
Cobber goalie Chris Neamonitis allowed a goal 28 seconds into the game but shut down the Toms thereafter. He stopped 26 of 28 shots to get his first collegiate win.
Andrew Kappers scored both Tommie goals and finished witrh a four-point weekend as the Toms split two games.
Tyrone Simcoe had 23 saves for UST.
The Tommies play Hamline next weekend.
