Women's Hockey gets 3-2 road win to stay in first

Kara Ledel's power-play goal midway throught the third period broke a 2-2 tie and the visiting Tommies scored a 3-2 victory over St. Olaf in Saturday night's MIAC women's hockey game in Northfield.
The first-place Toms (10-6-2 overall, 9-2-1 MIAC) earned a weekend split of one-goal games as they lost 1-0 on home ice on Friday. Senior All-American goalie Lauren Bradel stopped 24 of 26 shots.
St. Thomas' Jenny Schnaible and Kaylee Keys each scored goals and Kristin Grossman and Meghan Parker each had two assists. UST went 2-for-6 on the power play.
The Toms have a one-point lead on St. Catherine with six game to play. The Wildcats won 1-0 in overtime Saturday over Bethel.
Erin McNamara had 31 saves for the Oles.
