Raudel Fierro-Perez joined the men's soccer program as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in spring of 2024.

Fierro-Perez brings a deep soccer resume on the field and as a coach. He previously spent four years with the Tulsa men's soccer program, serving as a volunteer assistant for two seasons before moving into the graduate assistant role starting in 2022. In his tenure, Tulsa recorded a 36-19-8 overall record. Fierro-Perez helped coach 16 student-athletes to American Athletic Conference all-conference accolades, four to all-rookie team honors, and eight to all-tournament teams. In 2021 Tulsa had a record season, tying program-best 16 wins, was ranked as high as No. 2 nationally, claimed conference regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NCAA Championship third round. In 2022, the Hurricane made their 13th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. 

Tulsa had a 10-5-2 mark during the 2022 season, including three wins over top-25 opponents, and made its 13th appearance in the NCAA Championship, advancing to the Third Round during the 2022 campaign.  Mariano Fazio and Alex Meinhard were both named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List, Fazio was named as a 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s All-America third team honoree, and Fazio, Alex Lopez, Meinhard, and Henry Sach picked up United Soccer Coaches All-East Region honors.  For the American Athletic Conference, Fazio was named the Defensive Player of the Year and Lopez was tabbed as the Goalkeeper of the Year, both for the second-straight season.  Fazio, Lopez, Meinhard and Sach earned first-team all-conference accolades and Wes Bottenburg was selected to the all-rookie team.

In 2021, Tulsa had a historic season, tying a program-best of 16 wins, was ranked as high as No. 2 nationally, claimed The American regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NCAA Championship third round.  McCorkle helped coach Fazio to 2021 NCAA Division I Men's All-America third-team honors, while Lopez was named the 2021 Top Drawer Soccer Freshman of the Year, and five players were tabbed to the United Soccer Coaches all-east region teams.  The Tulsa men's soccer team claimed every American Athletic Conference honor possible in 2021, including Offensive Player of the Year (Alex Meinhard), Defensive Player of the Year (Mariano Fazio), Midfielder of the Year (Henry Sach), Goalkeeper of the Year (Alex Lopez), Rookie of the Year (Alex Lopez), and Coaching Staff of the Year.

During the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Tulsa only played American Athletic Conference games before The American Championship and posted a 6-4-2 record for a second-place finish. Alex Meinhard was named The American Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year and picked up all-conference and all-Rookie team accolades.  

The West Liberty, Iowa native played collegiate soccer at Loras College, graduating in 2019 with his degree in international studies. He receieved a masters in sports leadership from the University of Tulsa.
