Accounting major with 3.96 gpa… Capital One Academic All-America honoree in 2014 with a 3.93 grade-point average in Accounting and Financial Management, was named to the 2014 Academic All-MIAC team; in last two seasons alone has helped block for nine different 100-yard rushing performances, eight different 240-yard passing days, and a unit that averaged 225 rushing yards and 222 passing yards a game, and allowed less than one sack per game... 2013: OL starter, helped UST average 444.5 yards and 34ppg while allowing just five sacks... 2012: Contributor on offensive line as a freshman… 2012 graduate of Hill-Murray High, where he was honor student, two-sport captain and Academic all-state in basketball; HM all-state in football, all-conference, played in Minnesota Shrine all-star game and won team Most Valuable Lineman award… dad, Bob, played college basketball at St. John’s… son of Margaret and Bob Simmet.
