2011 Season...Immensely talented right handed pitcher and fierce competitor who has an overpowering fastball and one of the best breaking pitches on the staff. Saw extensive action as a freshman in 2011 as both a starter and a late inning reliever. Made collegiate debut against Mount Vernon Nazarene on (3/22/11) working 3.1 innings while scattering six hits and striking out three. Picked up first collegiate win versus Grinnell College in Winter Haven, Florida on (3/26/11) working a season high 6 innings with 3 strikeouts, 4 hits allowed and 1 earned run. Made first relief appearance against eventual NCAA Division-II runner up Winona State on (3/31/11) working one inning with one strikeout. Picked up first MIAC victory against St. Olaf at the Koch Diamond on (5/1/11) working 4 innings with 3 strikeouts while scattering four hits and allowing only two earned runs. Finished freshman season with 2-1 record, 4.36 earned run average working 26.2 innings with 20 strikeouts. Made 11 appearances on the season with six starts while opponents hit only a compiled .267 against.
High School...2010 St. Michael-Albertville Graduate. Helped the Knights win the 2009 Minnesota High School State Championship. 2009 All-MSHL State Tournament Team Selection; 3A All-Conference Selection. Batted .391 with 18 RBI as a senior, on the mound posted 3-1 record with 2.33 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 39 innings. Lions All-Star Selection (Metro North).
