Rexing, McNeive earn Summit League honors

Rexing named to All-League Second Team; McNeive earns Honorable Mention
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Summit League office announced its men's golf end-of-year honors, with two St. Thomas student-athletes recognized for their standout seasons. Senior Owen Rexing earned All-Summit League Second Team honors, his second career all-league selection, while sophomore Tyler McNeive was given an All-Summit League Honorable Mention.
Rexing spearheaded the Tommies throughout the season and finished with a team-best 72.56 scoring average, seventh in the conference. He recorded a team-leading 14 rounds at or below par and notched a pair of top 10 finishes including a podium at the Rutherford Intercollegiate. Rexing tied two of his teammates for the second-lowest single round of the season (68) He currently ranks No. 771st nationally according to Scoreboard by Clippd.
McNeive finished right behind Rexing with a scoring average of 72.63 across 27 rounds of play. He posted 11 rounds at or below par and earned a pair of top 10 finishes including a fifth place finish at the Shocker Invitational to lead the Tommies to their lone team tournament win of the season. He also pumped in a single round score of 68. Tyler ranks No. 785th nationally according to Scoreboard by Clippd.
