Tommies host Denver, South Dakota in Summit League play

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas women's basketball team is coming back to St. Paul, Minnesota. After opening Summit League play on the road, fans will have two chances to see the Tommies take on their conference foes this week. St. Thomas will host Denver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8 before South Dakota visits Schoenecker Arena at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10.
Of note: Thursday's game vs. Denver will be played at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
HOW TO WATCH
TICKETS: Tickets are still available for both Summit League contests and can be purchased at www.tommiesports.com. Students can claim their tickets online as well.
STREAMING: Both games will stream on the Summit League Network and the MIDCO Sports Plus app. For the low price of $29.99 a month, St. Thomas fans can purchase a Midco Sports All-In package, giving them access to the Summit League Network, CCHA TV and all Tommie football games. For $9.99 a month, fans can purchase a different package, giving them access to the Summit League Network and all Summit League women's basketball games.
TOP STORYLINES:
DEFENSIVE MINDED: It's no secret the St. Thomas defense is good. Like really good. As of Sunday, the Tommies ranked 39th in the nation in blocks per game and 74th in scoring defense. Additionally, St. Thomas is limiting opponents to just 53.8 points per game at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena this season.
