Tommies open PFL play at (RV) San Diego

ST. PAUL, MINN. – It's officially conference play for the University of St. Thomas football team. After enjoying a bye week, the Tommies open Pioneer Football League (PFL) play as they travel to California to take on the University of San Diego Toreros. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Torero Stadium in San Diego, California.
HOW TO WATCH
Tickets are still available for Saturday's contest and can be purchased on San Diego's official athletics website.
STREAMING: Saturday's game will stream on ESPN+. Fans can subscribe to ESPN+ (now ESPN Select) for $11.99 a month of $119.99 per year. A more expensive plan, ESPN Unlimited, is available for $29.99 per month.
RADIO: Fans can listen to Saturday's game between St. Thomas and San Diego on 1500 ESPN and through the Varsity Network App.

PRESEASON FAVORITES: Saturday's matchup will feature two PFL Champion hopefuls. San Diego was picked to win the league in the Preseason Coaches Poll, while St. Thomas was picked to finish third. The Tommeis will be looking for their second title in five seasons, having won the PFL Championship in 2022.
OPENING NUMBER: St. Thomas has never lost a PFL opener in its Division I era. The Tommies are 4-0 in conference openers in the Division I era and 13-3 since head coach Glenn Caruso took over in 2008. Under Caruso, St. Thomas has averaged 41.4 points per game in conference openers, including a 35.8 PPG averaged in the Division I era.
