St. Thomas men to open day at 10 a.m. followed by women at 10:45 a.m. in Falcon Heights, Minn.
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Thomas cross country returns to action closer to home Friday, Sept. 19 at the 39th annual Roy Griak Invitational in Falcon Heights, Minn. The men begin the day with the 8,000-meter race at 10 a.m. followed by the women's 6,000-meter race at 10:45 a.m. from the Les Bolstad Golf Course.

Last Time Out
St. Thomas Cross Country opened the 2025 season Saturday at the Phoenix Open in Green Bay, Wis., with the women's team winning the meet title and the men placing fifth. Sophomore Olivia Pauly led the women with a personal-best 22:06.0 for third place in the 6K, followed by three more top-10 finishes from freshman Layla Vennink (8th), sophomore Sophie Yetter (9th), and freshman Lindsay Berg (10th). Sophomore Brock Bjerke set a personal record of 25:36.9 to finish sixth in the men's 8K, while sophomores Joe McNeil (13th) and Ben Stricker (22nd) rounded out the Tommies' top three.
