Tommies to take on North Dakota Fighting Hawks at Xcel Energy Center

St. Thomas will battle #18 North Dakota on Sunday, October 12 in St. Paul
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The University of St. Thomas and University of North Dakota men's hockey teams are set for a non-conference series on October 10 and 12. Game two will be held at Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul. This will be the first series between the Fighting Hawks and Tommies in the DI era.
The Toms return to Xcel Energy Center for the third consecutive season after a pair of battles with the Minnesota Golden Gophers in 2023-24 and 2024-25.
Tickets for next season's October 12 game at Xcel Energy Center will go on-sale in late-August. St. Thomas season ticket holders with have access to a priority pre-sale opportunity.
The Xcel Energy Center matchup will close the weekend home-and-home series after the Tommies and Fighting Hawks square off at Ralph Engelstad Arena on October 10.
St. Thomas Men's Hockey finished the 2024-25 season as one of the hottest teams in college hockey with a 15-3-1 record down the stretch to the Mason Cup Final. Overall, the Tommies finished their fourth season in the CCHA with a 19-14-5 record. Liam Malmquist (20-25—45) and Lucas Wahlin (17-24—41) were each named First Team All-CCHA and Chase Foley (3-19—22) landed a spot on the Second Team.
