Tommies prep for final regular season meets of outdoor season

St. Thomas travels to campus of Hamline on Wednesday, Minnesota State on Friday
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Thomas Outdoor Track & Field makes its final two appearances of the regular season April 30 at the Meet of the UnSaintly and May 2 at the Maverick Open. The Tommies remain in St. Paul Wednesday at the meet hosted by Hamline before traveling to Mankato, Minn., to the campus of Minnesota State.
The Meet of the UnSaintly begins with field events at 10:30 a.m. followed by running events at 3 p.m. while the Maverick Open starts with field events at 1 p.m. and running events at 3 p.m.

Last Time Out
St. Thomas Track & Field turned in a record-breaking week across two meets, the Drake Relays and the Gary Wilson Invite, with standout performances led by Jack Rosner, who set a new program record in the decathlon with 7,661 points, now ranking 11th nationally in NCAA Division I. Rosner's finish included a javelin win and top-three results in both the pole vault and 110m hurdles. The Tommie women shattered three long-standing relay records in the 4x400m, sprint medley, and distance medley, while the men's 4x100m relay team clocked a program-best 40.63 to place third in the finals.
In total, the Tommies posted five top-five finishes at Drake, including a runner-up showing from Anna Swanson in the javelin and a third-place finish by Danika Apple in the 100m dash. Earlier in the week at the Gary Wilson Invite, the team added three more event wins and multiple top-10 program performances, highlighted by Apple's sweep in the 100m and 200m dashes and Hailey Shimon's victory in the discus.
